Why made to order?

Each of our designs is made to order without a seasonal expiration date. You can choose the style, metal, and size without concern over availability. Additionally, made to order eliminates any unnecessary develop or concern over production minimums, which in turns helps our environment.

How does the order process work?

All of our pieces are made by local craftsman in New York City. Please allow them 2 weeks from the time your order is placed, to complete their work. You will receive an email with a tracking upon shipment.

How are your pieces made?

Each ring is hand carved by the designer in wax. Once the carving is completed, it is passed onto craftsman located in New York City. Through a technique called Lost Wax Casting, the wax carving is taken and used to cast the design in metal. The wax carving is destroyed in the process but is transformed into a metal version. A large post called the Spur, a product of the casting process, is removed, and the ring is finished with a combination of sanding, polishing, and buffing. The designer and her team wear test each design to insure wearability and comfort. A silcon mold is made after the design has been confirmed. Once your order is placed this mold is used to create your piece in the metal of your choice. Our 24k gold plated sterling silver rings go through an additional process. Once the spur has been removed and they have been finished they are passed onto our plater and are micron plated in 24K gold.

What countries does Brenna Colvin currently ship to?

We currently ship to the US, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Hong Kong, China, the EU, the UK as well as many other countries. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns or if you do not see your country listed.  

What is your shipping time?

Each order will ship within 2 weeks of your order. Transit times may vary, please refer to the sent tracking number for details.

Will I pay tax, fees, or any duties on my order?

New York state customers pay sales tax. This will be added to your order at check out. International orders are subject to duties and taxes determined by the country to which they are shipped. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient to pay upon delivery. Orders refused at this point of delivery will incur return shipping charges as well as a restocking fee equivalent to the duties and taxes levied upon the original shipment. We re required by law to list directly on the package the full retail value of the items ordered. On rare occasions, customs agents may delay the delivery of, open and/ or examine the contents of package at their discretion. For more information on customs fees and procedures, please contract your local customs office.

What is your return policy?

We want you to feel confident ordering pieces from our collection. We accept returns and exchanges within 24 hours of delivery. We also offer resizing to ensure your made to order pieces is perfect for you. All pieces must be returned unused, unworn, and undamaged. All original tags must be attached. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. For international orders, we cannot refund duties and taxes paid to clear customs.
